PCC stands for Phoenix Comicon, one of the largest pop culture conventions in the southwest. This year the guests range from names such as John Scalzi to James Marsters to Levar Burton. This is my favorite conventions, because contrary to my current obsession with anime, comics were my first love. I remember reading X-men when I was 11 years old. I even had stickers of them all over my binders- when the other girls had Lisa Frank. So, when Comicon comes around I can revel in my past memories and it gives me a chance to make costumes I don't get a chance to make for anime conventions. This year- Crimson Viper from Street Fighter 4 (I'm a fighting game addict) and Hawkgirl from the Justice League(the halter version not the tubetop version). This year I also had the honor or running the Jfashion show, which I've been a part of for years. I am so thrilled to be part of the PCC staff, and I put together a show I hope I can be proud of. I'm also participating in the Trunk show, where I am showcasing some of my new design ideas for Poison Sugar- and it will be the jump start of my business.
